East Palo Alto is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and East Palo Alto follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Two out of three flavors of pound cake tasted strongly of acetone (lemon and matcha).

This was a dedicated gluten free bakery in a major grocery store. But now that they have added wheat products, I can no longer safety eat here.

Finally a yummy pastry place for us gluten-intolerants!!! Think Paris Baguette but GF! Delicious steamed Korean rice bread, Sulppang, that reminds me of the Filipino version, Puto. *They do have gluten (non-GF) baked goods as well, but those are clearly labeled โgreen labelโโavoid those if youโre GF!! Was enamored by all the gluten free treats here, I def overloaded since us Celiac peeps donโt have many Asian bakery options! Love Basquia!!

Weโre visiting the Bay Area and bought some wine from Napa Valley this morning. While shopping at Mega Mart for food to pair with it, we found a cheese-stuffed kabocha pumpkin. It was absolutely deliciousโso healthy, flavorful, and a perfect match with wine! I wish they sold this in Tennessee, where I live. Highly recommend!
